AFWM Ltd hosted our very first stand at Royal Cornwall Show this year and we invited Cornwall Hospice Care to join us. In working side by side, we were able to support CHC in their fundraising efforts by giving them the opportunity to engage with the public.
Passers-by were drawn in with CHC’s brilliant tombola – with every ticket guaranteed to win a prize and their free prize draw to win entry into their Fire Walk, taking part this October. AFWM Ltd also held our very popular prize draw to win Bollinger Afternoon Tea for two people at the Penventon Hotel.
“For the 2018 Royal Cornwall Show, AFWM invited Cornwall Hospice Care to join them on their show stand. Their support and collaboration allowed us to raise £648 towards funding our care, of which almost 40 hours of nursing care were funded. Additionally, we were able to showcase our upcoming Fire Walk and recruit brave participants, who risk flame and heat to raise money for our charity.
